Trench Coat Edit 2022
I think a classic trench coat is absolutely top of the list when it comes to wardrobe staples.
They never go out of style, and whilst they're mostly associated with spring wardrobes, they work all through the year and seem to go with absolutely everything. Transforming the most basic outfit into something far more chic.
About this time, every year, for the last 10 years, I start thinking about whether this will be the year that I invest in a timeless Burberry trench coat. I'm not really big into designer things, I prefer quality over the label inside but there are a few timeless pieces I feel are really worth an investment, like a killer pair of sunglasses, a waxed jacket for life and a classic leather bag... is a trench coat one of those things? I'm still not sure...
So I am still yet to invest, because every year the high street pulls it out of the bag with the most amazing selection of classic trench coats. The best always sell out fast and often by March there's nothing I love left in my size.
I still haven't managed to get my hands on a long length trench that I feel my wardrobe needs...so this year I'm going to be quick!
